Client Application

The Live Messenger application allows your operators to provide efficient support to your website visitors in real time as well as to easily chat and interact with them within the application rather than your web browser.

After the operators are logged in the Live Messenger application they can initiate chats with the website visitors, accept chat requests from the website visitors and to transfer chats between operators.

The client application is only available for Windows but versions for Mac and Linux will be available soon as well as a web page operator application. The Live Messenger application requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 or up.

Manage operator profile

Within the Live Messenger Windows application each operator can easily change his profile and settings as shown in the image below.

Current visitors

In this table the operators will always have the view of the current visitors on the website. The columns of the table can be customized as each operator wants (see above screenshots).

Online operators

All operators can see which operators are connected at eveytime so that in case of a chat transfer they can know who is available.

Active chats

In this group the operators can see active chats (either with himself or with other operators).

Pending visitors

This are the list of visitors that requested a chat and are waiting that one operator accepts the chat.

Operator details page

After the operator makes login a details page is shown (until is logoff). This page automatically refreshs overtime. (Note that in the above image is not possible to see the page itself only the tab refering to that page)

Chat toolbar

In ervery chat the operator will have a toolbar with the options to "Print", "Save" and "Send by mail". Also available is the "Pre-defined messages" selection.

Visitor details

This allows the operator to see details of the visitor to whom he is talking like Operating System, Browser, Country, IP Address, etc.

Visited pages

All the page visited by the user in his stay in the website until the chat started can be seen and clicked by the operator.

Previous chats

If the visitor used the same e-mail in the chat request you'll be able to have access to any other chat made by the user.

Interface ribbon

The application have 2 ribbons (Operator and Settings). In each one of them the operator will find different options to customize the way the application should work.
